Jessica Fahy Art Historian

This one hour lecture will focus on the best known works from 19th century painter John Everett Millais including his Ophelia and Christ in the House of His Parents. One of the founders of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, he had mixed fortunes during his career, from being denounced as a rebel to being knighted. His works will be placed within the context of his life and the time in which he lived.
