The mysterious, satirical street artist is perhaps one of the best-known living artists in the work even though their identity is still a mystery. A controversial figure, the popularity of their pieces has led to a confusing amount of support and hatred from the public, the authorities, other street artists and art collectors. Some see Banksy as a genius others as a fraud.
