Description: Join me on a jammed pack art history trip to Belfast and beyond! We will visit both permanent and temporary exhibitions in two incredible locations to explore the wealth of art on show. Leaving from Dublin we will have our own bus and driver for the full trip.

Itinerary:

Meet at the National Gallery at 7:45 am

8 am                    Bus to Ulster Museum (2 hrs)

10 am                  Tour of the exhibition Renaissance to Romanticism: Painting before 1900. The finest pre-1900 Irish, British and European paintings in the Ulster Museum collection, including Peruzzi's 'The Nativity'.

11:15 am           Coffee Break

11:45 am           Tour of Irish Art Exhibition 'Light from the West': Irish Art after 1870, a beautiful and fascinating show which includes works by John Lavey, Jack Yeats, Paul and Grace Henry, William Orpen and Pierre-Auguste Renoir!

1:00 pm              Bus to FE McWilliam Gallery (30 mins)

1:30 pm              Lunch at ‘Quails At The Gallery’ (Pay Separately)

2:30 pm              Tour of Permanent FE McWilliam Collection: Works by one of the greatest sculptors of the 20th century.

3:00 pm              Tour of Temporary Exhibition of 100 Years of British and Irish Art: A Fermanagh Collection. An exciting and unique opportunity to see a rage of artworks drawn from the private collection of the Earl and Countess of Belmore which includes works by Paul Henry, Norah McGuinness, Gerard Dillon and Mary Swanzy. As well as British modernists such as David Bomberg, John Bratby, Ceri Richards and Rose Hilton.

4:30 pm              Bus back to Dublin (2hrs)

Cancel before November 1^st there will be 50% refund.

After November 1^st 2025 there will be no refund if you cancel. You may give your place to a friend.

If I cancel the trip there will be a full refund.

Refunds will not cover any other costs.
