Jessica Fahy Art Historian

Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881 –1973) is considered to be one of the most influential and now controversial artists of the 20^th century. This 6 week prerecorded course will present his work in chronologically and place it in its historical context with comparisons to contemporaries and importance in art movements and later followers. He worked in many styles, materials including painting, sculpture and ceramics and with constant evolution and experimentation. We will also exam his life and inspirations through a contemporary and current lens.
